01:06 - Digital Crap In A Digital Urn

So because I liked "I'm Wide Awake It's Morning" so much, I ordered the other Bright Eyes album. I bought the cd through some company in Maryland because with the dollar-euro exchange, it's still cheaper to buy from the USA and pay shipping than to buy in Euroland. I don't know if I wasn't in the right mood this morning, I don't know if it's because I've been listening to Picaresque obsessively, but whatever the case, this album blows. For some reason heartbreak sounds much better with a guitar and so far the only redeeming quality of this purchase has been the hilarious cover art of a boy throwing up numbers into a toilet superimposed on some flowers. No one does weepy pain quite like Conor. I guess I'll give it a full listen and update the post later but I can usually tell by the first three songs of a cd if I'm going to like it or not.
Weepy Techno Pain.

But at least The Onion has it right.
